Privacy notice

Lorya is an independent freelance practice, operated by an individual freelancer. For questions about personal information or to make a privacy request, email info@lorya.cc.

When you contact us

The inquiry form collects your name, email address, optional project subject, and message. We use those details to respond to your request and discuss a possible project. This processing supports steps you ask us to take before entering a contract. Do not include sensitive personal information.

Your inquiry is delivered to our email inbox through our email provider. The website does not send an automatic marketing or confirmation email, and an inquiry does not subscribe you to a mailing list.

Website operation and safeguards

Our hosting provider processes requests and technical connection information to serve and protect the site. The contact endpoint temporarily stores a hash derived from the request’s IP address to limit repeated submissions, and temporarily caches a submission identifier and content hash to reduce duplicate delivery. These application safeguards last up to 15 minutes in a running server process. Your hosting provider may maintain separate operational logs.

Optional analytics and advertising

Google Analytics and Meta Pixel remain disabled until you allow optional cookies. If enabled, these providers may receive page visits, browser and device information, identifiers, and connection information. We use these tools to understand visits and the effectiveness of our marketing. Their processing may involve transfers outside your country, including to the United States. Consent is optional and can be withdrawn through Cookie settings.

Learn more in our cookie notice, Google’s privacy policy, and Meta’s privacy policy.

Access and retention

Inquiries are accessible through our business email system and the providers needed to operate it. We use the information for handling the inquiry and any resulting business relationship. If you want details of the retention period applicable to your correspondence, or want it deleted, contact us. Contractual or legal obligations may require some records to be retained.

Your choices and rights

Where applicable, you can request access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability, or object to processing. You can withdraw consent for optional tracking at any time without affecting earlier processing. You may also complain to your local data protection authority. Contact us at the address above so we can respond to your request.
